Navara weight...

Post by Danny148 »

Hello,

This mite be a dumb question but I have to ask. I got my 2006 navara 2.5 turbo diesel, and everything is fine, the car is great. But what conserns me is when i drive it, it feels like the car is leaning to the right side. Checked out the body, and the fuel tank is on the right side, also the battery in the engine bay is also on the right side, So i dont know but it feels like its leaning to the rite, so it not straight. Any ideas or am i just crazy? :D

cheers

Common for the R/H torsion bar to sag first. Get out a tape measure and check L/H to R/H side i check at the bottom of the door and if it's sagged adjust the arm to level it back out.

thanks so far on the ideas. So i went out and measured it L/H to R/H and it actually is leaning to the right, but not much tho. Adjust the torsion bar?? Would that be a hard job to do or can i do it myself? And wats the go with it?? lossen the brackets and screws and push it up until it is level???

cheers

check your car more closely then because in 2006 they didnt have the 2.5L they were still the 3.0L turbo diesel.

Only 2.5L was the D40 which has coil ifs.
