buggy spring set up

hey guys thinking of doing a buggy spring set up on the rear end of my zuk as in a leaf spring holding the top of the rear shackle then bolted onto the chassy to allow the whole back end to drop out. just wondering if anyone has doen this and what the results were like i know it is quite commen to do on a hilux but haven heard of meany zooks doing it any info would be great thanks joe.
