Cairns - Help for rear breaks [HJ60]

Post by cocacola-light »

Hey guys,
I'm a German traveller in a Landcruiser HJ60. My rear breaks are just shit and not working anymore. The Old Telegraph Track was a little bit to much for them :-)
I need new break shoes and one new break cylinder in my rear breaks. Anyone in Cairns (or around) who can change them for me? Where can I buy the parts?
Of course I'll spring some beers ;)
Cheers

Different question: I need to fly home for 3 weeks and need to park my car somewhere in Cairns. Of course I don't want to pay too much money. Is there any safe and free/cheap spot in Cairns to do that?

Might be better for you to post that question in general chit chat - more people will read it.

Unfortunately Neil has no time this weekend. He'll ask some mates, if they could help out.
For the case that he'll find nobody is there anyone else who could give me a hand?
Cheers
