extractors for 308 in hilux

ok i came up with a few ides when searching...but im wondering if anyone knows 1st hand what sorts/brands etc fit...as there isnt much room at all !!!

search came up with using commo ones...but i wouldnt mind hearing from someone which can say a definete 'yes they fit' before i go out & buy.

would the universal fit, block huggers fit? i have them on mine, they are made by pacemaker. or theres cheaper versions from genie.

308LUX i wouldnt worry to much if ya only chasing horsae power as standard 308 manifold flows really well and you wouldnt b gaining a hole heap that is unless u want a different note so im told BTW was from a bloke who runs a 900hp dyno shop so ill take his advise as being O.K IM getting about 260-270hp and that should be heaps if yours is standard you would b somewere around 250hp and might if ya lucky pick up 10hp with extractors but it all depends on how they flow :roll:

I bought a set of V6 extractors & modifyed them to fit the Hilux myself.
GXL Turbo Diesel 80 series- 6" King springs + Rancho in-cab kit- 35" BFG Muds Twin ARB airlockers.

yeh sounds like good advice webbie...is your dyno reading from the engine or rear wheels ??

i also found out that the commo try-Y style extractors which come in 2 parts aparantly fit perfectly
