Just get yours rebuilt with a 12mm delivery valve upgrade and possible boost compensator for low down fuel control.

Sometimes they leak from the small diamond shape side cover. Caused by a o-ring thats gone hard.

That happened to me once, I pulled the plate off and replaced O ring for 50 cents.

Can you see the ZZ timing marks on timing gears? If so the single Z goes between the ZZ obviously.

You guys that are rebuilding pumps with up grades what sort of money are you looking at??
I am in a simular situation. My pump leaks on and off. Also running 15psi. Pump is maxed out and no more go untill I upgrade the pump.
Have found that the guys at Chapmans dyno tuning very helpful so far with tuning. They said they can do an exchange Reco Gu pump for $1700.

The GU pump has a 11m plunger?

Not sure.. If it does not, I know plenty of guys who have had the GQ pump rebuild with a 11mm plunger put in for under that price.

Its then good for about 130-140rwkw.
