paj shorty 93 lift!!
hey guys just bought a 93 shorty soft top turbo diesel with factory locker etc... Anyway just want to know the best way to lift these pajs up as i am a ex patrol owner dont know much bout these.. I was thinkin 2" suspension and 2" body will hopefully fit my 34 jt2s under it or some 285/75/16s atleast.. Any suggestions on what setups you guys have will be appreciated.. Whats the go with these torsion bars they run how much do you get uot of winding em up do you still have any travel at all i dunno let me know what you guys have done!!
OH and can i still run 15 and 16x8 rims on these..

You can still run patrol or landcruiser offset steel 15' rims on them, if you have alloy's you may need to do a little grinding on the callipers, nothing huge, just a tickle up. You can wind the torsions up no worries, the further you wind the harsher the ride but the better the clearance, also flipping the balljoints with a spacer and trimming the bumpstops allows further down travel. Two options for lifting the rear, LWB springs will give you about a 2' lift and pootrol springs will give you more depending which type you use. I used LWB HD pootrols in mine and it lifted it 4.5" and I managed to lift the front enough to match. You will be able to run the 33's no sweat as this is the standard height tyre for these and even the 34's will fit easily with your planned lift. I have 35's on mine with my lift, only a slight touch in the front at certain steering angles but shortly to be fixxed with a small body lift.
help !!! lift what to do

ok u rotate them towards the centre of the vehicle, passengers side gets rotated clockwise, drivers side anti clock wise, once you get them out you will see a white mark on the bars (the engine end) you only need to rotate them 1 or 2 splinescozab wrote:so ive looked everywhere bout the reindexing no straight answers which way to turn em, how much..... i was thinkin if they are sagged wouldnt you rotate em 180 degrees i dunno noone seems to know much...
