6" Flares
6" Flares
I am looking for some 6" wide flares for my project Sierra.
Have been looking at the bushwacker flares but dont know where to get them from for the best price
Is anyone here running these and how do they go?
Does anyone know what model Wrangler they are actually cut from?
I assume they are a set of 4 rear flares cut down to suit the Sierra.

You can order them direct from Trail Tough, and some of the dealers on this board sell them also.
I emailed them for the flares once before and this is the response:
The flares are $295.00 and the shipping to Australia has been running about $85.00 via USPS.
Thanks,
Linda

That would be in US dollars.

Why not just extend a set of WT flares, there was a zook in 4wd monthly a while back with a gilux engine/diffs with guards that were extended kind of with an arch with the WT flare attached to the end.
Perhapsd somebody has a pic they can post.
IMO some of the after market flares like bush whacker make the zook look un zook like

I remember seeing that zook and remember thinking how awful the extended stock flares looked. They look more tacked on than the bushwacker ones do. Just my opinion.
No Idea,
thanks for the numbers. Seems heaps cheaper to order them direct from the states than to get them locally.
Or is there something im missing as I have never orderded anything from overseas before??
Unless some kind person from overkill is going to do me a great deal on them

Fair point,
The trail tough flares look good, I reckon they just dont look zook enough, something like lawn edging ripped is tatters is far more suzuki-like

I'm not sure if they are the same as the ones on the suzuki's or not - but i have seen bushwacker flares on just a regular wrangler (97 - 2003)... don't they all have the same body shape?
Check out the bushwacker website - that may answer some questions

I do however plan on keeping it looking mostly Suzuki so as to keep the essence there.
Does anyone know what model Wrangler these flares are actually made for?
They are for the rear of a TJ I belive ..

Bazooka wrote:Yes it is a toss up between the TJ and YJ Wranglers.
Im not sure whether they are the same flares on these 2 jeeps or not?
Does anyone know the difference in the rear flares on these if any?
Perhaps someone here could answer that:
