I have the above and am woundering if any one on this list has one from a broken/unused instrument gauge.
Mine works only some times and half the time, it stops ae whatever speed I am doing when it decides to not work.
Have looked to see if it is fixable but have discovered that the chip I require is a TB9213P. So little information on the net about this. Best I can come up with is, it is a micro controller which will need to be programmed anyway so not possiable to fix......

Yes, I know. $400 is very steep for something so small and with soo little in it
Is a new one anyway and the ODO still ticks over so it isn't the sensor.
I have managed to fix it anyway. Pulled it out and attacked it with the soldering iron and a bit of cleaner. Some of the green protective mask has flaked off from the copper tracks and some brown sticky goo has covered the copper traces, but only where the mask is missing. A bit of a clean and resoldering, it now works the best since I have had the car.
