What type of tyres to run
got a 05 gu wagon its the girls daily driver so want something safe on road want 285/70/17 Altertrains but not sure what to get. As a lot dont have that size

Pretty common size in Mickey Thompsons, BFGs, Coopers etc.
That's not a very common size, we just ordered some Maxxis Bighorns in that size for a 200 series today, they weren't even listed in their book but we rang up and they had them. I like the BFG all terrains for a good hard wearing tyre, had a customer just get 110 000km out of his on his 75 series, it won't hurt to ring a supplier to see if they make them in that size.
