Any Jeep forum members interested in pictures of WW2 Jeeps in situ in NG and the South West Pacific during WW2?

No interest???? or jealous that these Jeeps never caught fire...unless they got a 7.62mm in the tank. :D

Shhhhh where very reserved in here , and most of the guys are sleeping Can you post the pics here RN ?

Im interested ,Dad was in the engineer's and done milne bay and the high lands

Well it isn't that simple. I have a mate in the US that was a photographer for the USAAC 5th Airforce, 3rd Bomb Group. He has compiled a CD with his wartime pictures which he sells for $25.US. He doesn't have many pictures of jeeps but the ones he has are really good and would give jeep restorers some good info as to how they were set up, serial numbers. They were taken in Charters Towers and New Guinea and the other SWP islands.
So out of respect to him I won't cut and paste them but if you are interested I can give the contact details. By the way he is now 86 yrs old.
