it's a funnay thread but you were dead wrong about the brakes for a couple of reasons. the HZJ calipers do bolt on to earlier cruisers without modification, and all the calipers are cast iron, not aluminium. Other than that I still regard you as Teh Kyng Of Off Rode and I worship the greound your truck crawls on!

Hey champ, i own a chopped 60, its got a 4" spring kit in it from Hobzee's 4wd shop commonly known as 4H

Got it for 1100, i have 2" shackles and a 3" bodylift, the front clears the 35's fine but the rear rubs a little, 2" spacers or offset rims would do the trick, i have a lokka in the rear and cant complain it does all i want it to.

My front pinion angle is a little wild but it dont stress it out too much, it does for the minute.

I have had a 12ht it turned the 37's i had no worries at all, then a 2F petrol and it turned the 37's and the 35's no worries, now i hav a 2H with extractors, standard brakes and it turns the 35's fine 140 odd on open road is no worries and stops without a problem at all so i dont see anyones problem with it.

If a 2H cant turn 35's---REBUILD IT or TURBO IT!!!
If your brakes cant handle stopping 35's, REBUILD THEM TOO!!

well i dont know alot but the only skid mark my 60 has ever made is in my pants .

it has the poorest brakes of any car i have owned i have rebuilt the calipers ,fitted a dual diaphragm booster new flexible lines all new pads n shoes (cheap ones)
wore out the front pads in 12 months bought better quality ones it now stop reasonably well but i use it to pull a car float and it got bloody scary when i forgot to flip brake lock off over and needed to stop in hurry cos i didn't stop at all

i run 33's and a v8 if some one comes up with a brake improvement im all for it i am going to look into larger bore master cylinder

You may actually want a smaller bore master. The larger will move more fluid but maybe not as much clamping force.
