Problem with Twine shower

Post by DX 80 »

I got a Twine installed. It appears the pump has shat itself.

Pump runs but will not draw water. Am I correct to assume it's rooted and source a new one?

First make sure everything is perfect, as in the draw pipe is definately not blocked and no kinks, and disconnect the outlet pipe, see if anything flows.
Also try to directly connect pump to battery to make sure a connection or lead hasnt burnt out and youre getting massive voltage loss.

I spoke to a bloke at Twine yesterday and he suggested the diaphram could be rooted. I stripped it down and all seems to be ok.

Does anyone know where to source (apart from Twine) a shurflow pump?

Google is your friend here, but any caravan or boat place will have them. Id take it out & replace the piping too it to see if it will pump water then.

Also if there is an air leak in the line it wont draw any water.
