front wheel bearings and swivel hubs
front wheel bearings and swivel hubs
im redoing my front bearings and painted up the swivel housings. is the swivel housing meant to be full of grease or just the bearing or what i had two different situations on each side so dont know how its meant to be?
Pack it up with grease. get as much as you can in there, pack it up then slip it over the CV and then pack more in and around it. The bearings have to be packed with grease as well but they are in a different section to the swivel hub.
..wrench, wheel, wreck repeat..

And they need different grease from memory -
LMM on the CV's and HTB on the bearings.
You pretty much can't put too much grease in and around the CV's. You'll use most of a 500g tub on both front CV's ( 250g each)
Steve.
