hey guys just wondering wat a 3.3 litre turbo diesel engine is worth out of MK 1985 400 thou km's on it an wat would diffs be worth front an rear??

400,000klms?? You wouldnt expect to pay much at all...

you can buy a complete MK with 3.3 for $300 on ebay with 300,000klms on it.

turbo variant is a lot more desirable.

I think the SD33T is one of the really nice diesels out there, but I guess it is getting pretty old and the value must be getting lower, especially at 400,000 kms.

Was thinking of buying an parting out, its a wagon spare front an rear diffs runs well so i am told didn't no if it would be worth it

wouldnt waste my time on it.

Diffs are worth about 100 buks a pair and only good for spare cv and axles.

4 speed not worth anything. Perhaps it has a divorced tranny that someone is chasing one.

SD33 would only be worth the head if it hasnt had a hard life. 290k isnt a great deal of km though for these motors.

And you dont get any wheels either.

My 2c is its already over priced unless you specifically are looking for a divorced tranny or are desperate for a SD33
