Hey all does anyone know if you can re-program any keeyles entry remote so that I can get it to work on a 1996 TE Magna. Or is there a Generic type that would work. New ones start at about $100 each

I can think of 2 models that would suit a magna both are cheap and will work for any model

option 1 full house brick, a bit heavy for your keychain though

option 2 half house brick, easier to carry around

both will get you in without a key

Ha ha it's not my car so sh*t can as much as you want, But the pregnant wife wants new remotes so that when bubs comes along she can unlock the car without having to put the key in the lock. We have two original units but the loop on top has snapped off on both of them.

I was at a Mister Minit recently, and they had a poster up advertising replacement key fobs, and I reckon Magna was on it. Give them a call?

You should be able to go to a car alarm place..??? And get the guts of your remotes ripped out and installed in another unit.

It cost me $15 to do 1 remote.
