for those that think the trackbar with a shackle at the end dont work have no idea
joe blow dosent matter what diff ratio you have if a tire is jammed in a rock it is still goin to wrap up the springs exactly the same amount to get it to start to move
if you can some how prove me i would be intrested to hear it
as that is the way i look at it
imo the lower the diff gears(higher numerically) the less stress it puts infront of it (transfer ,gearbox)
and the more stress it puts on behind it (axles)

Time will tell hey, the only probs Ive had before when running a very similar bar was without the "twist" joint in it it bound up too much.
I really cant follow the gearing thing, do you mean as long as the "standard" tyre diff gear ratio is followed axle wrap will be limited? Does this take into account gearing before the diff?
Its an interesting thought but I cant see how correct diff gears can stop the axle rotating under acceleration?

i would like to know what tube people are using for there slip and twist. as i would like to start making mine ASAP im running out of thing to do and it only making me stay on the computer

If im corect your wrap bar goes under the hilux springs on your truck. It looks like a top idea and would work no worries but, what would stop me from doing it is clearence. ok i am now getting all materials together. found the pipe. ive got a few questions
1.what bushes did you use on the axel. and what size pipe?
2.is it best to keep the bar as long as posible or is shorter better?
3.will the angle/steepness of the bar effect anything?
4. how strong is that crossmember with the 2 body mounts on?
