My 1992 Land Crusier speedometer has been whining for a while. I've been told that it needs a new speedometer cable. I bought the cable. Anybody got any ideas on how to go about removing the old and installing the new?
Is it possible to do without removing the dash and instrument cluster? Any tips wil be appreciated!
Thanks,
G.

mate you will have to take the dash out ot do it iv just done mine and the best way i found was undo everything all the clips that hold it on and undo it from the gear box then pull apart ya dash then pull the old cable out then get the new one and tape the hell out of it to it like your pulling a wire through the fire wall then just pull from the bottom u mite have to kinda feed it down then get under then pull it then repeat but that should work thats the best way i found
