TDI or V8, it really depends on mileage and condition, as little as 2.5k up to 12k for a full spec ES with full leather. 96 up are best years, tdi is crucial to have service history regarding the timing belt, V8's are pretty hardy and dont really have any quirks apart from the odd liner slippage but that was mainly in 4/4.6ltr post 95 rangies. The auto must change smoothly as these cost a bomb to repair or replace, otherwise parts are mostly cheaper than the japanese equivelant.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
