Workshop Manual for Vitara

Post by tt92 »

I bought a CD which purported to have on it a workshop manual for my 1993 Vitara. It is from Chilton Total Car Care and has a manual for the Sidekick.
I believed that the Sidekick was the North American version of the Vitara, and that the manual would be the same as a manual specifically for the Vitara.
Not quite. In fact not very close at all.
Is there a similar CD available which is useful? Simple things like aiming headlights. Photographs and drawings that look like they are from the same car?
I got this manual from someone on EBay. It was dead cheap, and I guess worth every penny. There are others on EBay, but they might well be the self-same publication.
I welcome your guidance.
