GU Auto locking hub
GU Auto locking hub
Well after replacing a broken cv on a gu the auto locking hub is making a ticking noise. The faster you go the faster the ticking(like teeth are grindig). We pulled the hub of and every thing looks ok put it back on and still it does it.Get in the car drive to the shop doesnt do it drive home does it .Doin my head in.Any ideas please help?
G'day, have a look through this thread http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6524 to see how to make the auto hubs into manual ones. Post 34 describes how to fix them if you want to - stops them making that clicking sound.
