Wiper assembly

Post by tez »

I need to fit blades to the wiper on my 92 Hilux and noticed the wiper blade holder is a bit worse for wear, so I was going to buy some of those Bosch complete assembly things.

Problem is, they are designed to fit on the arms which have a hook and it looks as though the wiper arm on my Hilux is held on by two small screws.

Is this normal on a Hilux? Im not sure if someone has put different blades and arms on the Hilux.

I just need to know if Hilux wipers have those two phillips screws which are in the pic holding the wiper assembly to the wiper arm?

Just had a look at my 96 model and realised I've never really paid attention before.

My passenger side wiper is the same as you have pictured with the screws but the one on the drivers side has the hook/clip setup you mention.
gute Reise!
