hey mates,
Got a '96 with a 3inch spring lift, adjustable tuff dog panard rods, and a so far undiagnosible shake.
Only happens when coasting round a right hand turn at any speed.
Adjusting the panard rod seemed to do something for a while, (tried this several times), but after some weeks it returns gradually getting worse.
Had wheel alignments, new tyres fitted, been on the hoist several times, so far no one has nailed it.
My latest idea is maybe my front tierod arm is slightly bent, looks a little by eye towards the passenger side, not drastically tho. Could that be it? Should I buy a another one/ anyone got one?

"96 80 series, 3' spring, 2'body, t'dog shocks,305/70 MTZ's, and plenty of gas (ask the missus), Zook's gone now, too broken for me to fix.
from what you describe I would be checking the tierod ends first. worn tie rod ends will let the front right shake more so than the left.
Bent steering arm shouldnt let it shake.
Replace the bushes in the panhard rod with standard rubber busshes. the nolathane ones can flog out quickly and worn bushes are a common cause of the front end shaking (left and right)
Also check for loose panhard bolts, loose radius arm bolts or worn bushes, worn or loose wheel bearings, worn kingpin bearings.

Normally only a couple of things that cause datsun wobbles on a 80, thats panhard or tyre balance (usually if ya run bias tyres)
check panhard bushes, the yellow/red ones (cant think of the technical name) are good at floggin out but looking fine.
check swivel hub bearing make sure they arent stuffed.

Death Wobbles
Been a few posts on this in the past and I have had them.
Usually one of two things,
Panhard - Replace Bushes (regardless how they look) fixed the problem on the 80 (35s, 6" lift, castor corrected) even though they looked fine. Last thing left on front end that I had not replaced.
Buckled rim on the 75 series was the other cause I eventually found.
