hey all had alittle seach couldnt find much just curious if anyone knows of a newcastle engineer to get all this done and how much it would cost roughly.
Ruf, extended brake lines, big gaurd chop, 1l transfer in 1.3, new front hoops, my rear suspesion running 45 angle and 31 mtrs
any help would be much apprieciated
thanx jimmy
I used Don VTOL he was good cost double for the ruf as he has to "prove" the springs are good enough for the front. Mine specifies howmany leaves per pack! Ithink $600 for whole vehicle.

Before you go any further talk to an engineer or you may have to redo things to there specs but Id say overall if done right it should be engineerable.

IM BRINGING MY SWB VITARA TO NSW FROM UK, ITS GOT 2" BODY LIFT,1.5" SUSPENSION LIFT AND 31" MUD TYRES, BELIEVE IT NEEDS ENGINEERING, ARE THESE MODS ENGINERABLE. ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED[/img]
Get athol mullens to certify it. You'll never have a problem. His reputation speaks for itself.
As for Werner at TIC, his reputation speaks for himself, and many people have some quite unfriendly thinks to say about his work.
ie: sight unseen dodginess.
Hi guys,
Im after the same info. I need a approx cost to get SOA, 2" BL and 31" tyres engineered. It has all been done professionally. Anyone have an idea?
Sorry about hi jack but i dont want to start a new thread
tic is long gone, rta banished him a good 6 months ago and vtol from what i hear is either under rta investigation or is in lock down- you will have to ring to confirm that tho.
I spoke to a mate that works in the rta (yeah I know I didnt actually ring so this may be b/s) but he said vtol is still on the list of approved engineers.
