Broken Heater Control

Post by acs012 »

Hi, Hopefully someone can help, I have a 85 Bundera 22R.

The bottom toggle slide on the heater control switch has come loose. I have removed all of the dash exterior, and found that the metal lever has a round flange on the end. This goes under the unit, then sits on a plastic knob. The plastic knob appears to be in tact, however whenever pressure is placed on this, it rolls over, then falls off. I assume there is supposed to be some sort of cap or lock to secure this in place.

Any thoughts on how to fix, where to get parts from or any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
