storage ideas with pics

Post by WHITE DREAM »

Hi everyone,
here are some pics of the centre roof console i made and some storage ideas. I have under seat storage, between door and seat storage, and i just made a drawer system and hinged box behind rear seat. i made the centre roof console out of ply and northern box timber, the underseat and side storage boxes are out of mdf board, the drawer system and hinged box are out of ply and northern box timber. The uhf surround is tassie blackwood. All the ply and timber cost me nothing, all you need to do is go to printing places for the ply or mdf, some timber yards or wood turners for the hardwoods etc will im sure help you out, also with the help of me old man, we made a 23 litre water storage reserve up top with some strapping supports welded on rear roof rack . The pipe has a lever tap on one end . A diy snorkel is soon and rear ARB locker next week . Hope this gives some ideas for storage as you dont need to spend a fortune. Some pics of me NG PAJ here as well. See ya.

I might have to makr an overhead console myself ... was looking for a home for the UHF the other day and could not find a place I liked in the dash area (I like the little pocket under the stero to keep bits and pieces in) I need to make up some rear draws as well to retrive a bit of storage.
