rolling tyres off new rims

Post by samo86 »

i just got a new set of 16x10" rims for my 315/75/16" tyres, past 2 trips have rolled the tyres off the rims, outside bead popping off through bog holes. are the rims to wide for the tyres? would the 16x8" suit them better, dont really want the hassle of bead locks either. anyone else had this problem?
cheers

10s are better for tyres that are 13.5 inch wide, get 8s and you won't have any issues.

10s look good, but are simply to wide for those tyres in " offroad use" conditions.

get a set of 8's.

are 10.5 inch rims too wide for 11.5 inch tyres, havnt had the chance to get out in the bush and just wondering if i will have the same problem, maybe i should get internal beadlocks before i let pressure out
