I have a bung fuel cut off solenoid, When I was taking the rubber boot off the top half of the solenoid came off with it. Leaving half of it in the injector pump.
Whats the easiest way to remove the rest of the solenoid?

You will either be able to get an open ended spanner or socket in there. Some can be really tricky, make sure the spanner is a tight fit.

Alright so,
Tuesday night, Took the radiator out, Fan out, Lined all the timing up.
Wednesday morning went down and got the part from a Diesel Injection place in Islington, Newcastle. NSW.
Came home, Double check all the timing was right, Took the injector pump out, Tried using a 24mm open ender to un do the solenoid but it kept slipping. So we got a screwy and a BFH and gave it some good hits and it turned enough to be able to un do it with the open ender.
Put the new one in, put the boot back on.
Put the injector pump back in the truck, Hooked up all the lines, Made sure all the timing marks were correct.
Hooked up a 1 litre bottle of diesel straight up to the injector pump to put back in any diesel that came out while we had it out, took about 800mms. Hooked the normal line back up, Cracked the injectors, Turned it over, All the injectors spurting quite good. Started (Running rough because some injectors still cracked), Did everything that you usually do to bleed it properly.
Went for a drive with a mate, Everything running sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Unfortunatly the night was ended because how strong Range Rover drivelines are :(

All in all, I'm glad its fixed.
