Second Air Beadlocks

If you are having trouble airing down the tyre due to the second air, it is probably not fitted properly. I didn't check the material tab on one of ours when assembling it and noticed I couldn't get any air out of the tyre without letting the Second Air down first. Easy fix, just pop the bead off one side, tuck the tab up between the tyre casing and the fabric , then reseat the bead. This fixed them perfectly for us. We have no problem at all with airing up and down.
Dunno about you gus, but that much of money for essentially something made out of rubber is not something I am willing to do...
Why not then just get passenger tires´inner tubes and do the same???

As long as the "Third Air" doesn't originate from the "gentle breeze" inside of his jeans............second thoughts that could be useful, a tube that inflates itself

I just assumed that airing up and down process was a necessary evil - we may be the victim of circumstance here... We imported them and the guy who installed them followed the instructions but this was his first go... Will take your advice and see if it makes a difference... Cheers.

I have no problems airing up or down with my Tyreloks... 16.5x9.75 rims and 38.5 SX's.
I run the inners at around 32psi though... may go a bit higher now after reading this post. SX's I have been running at 6/7 (R/F) psi.
One thing I can say is that when I installed them I drilled the first one with the hole directly inboard from the existing valve hole (as per the instructions)... this was a major PITA. For all the others I drilled it about 2-3" offset and they were MUCH easier to install.
I also have a couple of spare tubes for quicker change over if one goes - haven't used them yet.

Ive been running the 15/10 second airs for a few months now and have done a Rockcrawling comp and a decent amount of wheeling on them. I run the second Air at 40psi and the tyre at 3-6psi. I have had no problems with them at all. For someone that wants a beadlock that holds both inner and outer beads and is also street legal these are perfect. They are a real PITA to install.
This said mine are for sale if anyone is interested.I have 5x15/10 Second Airs. One has never been taken out of the bag. I also have 5x15/10 Black US Rockcrawler rims to suit a Nissan/Toyota these are to suit the second airs and have Valve Stem guards welded on them.
Second airs- x5 $800 i paid $210 each for these. 1 has never been installed.
Rims- x5 $450 1 has never been used.
I am selling these to go to a set of weld on Beadlocks. The terrain im driving i need a stronger outer lip on the rim and i also cant run water in the tyres as efectivly with the second air. I also dont need a street legal beadlock.
