I am in the process of starting a new project and am asking for help regarding engine operating temps for the old SD33T.
The plan is to reuse the thermos i have out of an AU falcon but this time running them automatically with a temp switch and have a manual overide.
So, what im looking for is opinions on what the temp range the thermos should be on-off at. Mainly for touring and highway towing boat and it also needs to run a couple of heat exchangers to heat up the fuel ( WVO) . i plan to install a larger radiator as well shortly

i bought a davis craig one and it has a range of 65 deg to 105 deg so i just turned it off and went for a strap on the highway and found that the car sits on 90 deg so i bumped it up so at 92 deg the fan comes on.
