new MK Shortie

Post by mercxr6T »

Hey everyone. I just bought a 1986 SWB Patrol 3.3 TD. The thing is in unreal cond with only a few little spots of rust. The interia is immaculate and it even has a brand new set of khumo 33s AT. I paid $4k for it. It has 316xxx on the clock. Now I was wondering if this amount of ks will be an issue in the near future or if it will last a long while. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

If the diesel has been well looked after you should be right for a few more K's.

it has been quite badly abused of late and still starts everytime
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting

just watch it doesnt get too hot. thats the only real killer. they heads crack easy.

Other wise they will run for ever and even on fish and chips oil for a long time reliably. Remember to give it regular oil changes with a decent oil, etc.

Cheers
