NH Pajero Questions - Oil Gauge, Dash Light, Speedo

Post by muffins »

Couple of questions.

My oil pressure gauge is not working at all. What could be causing this?

When driving, the speedo bounces up and down. Only just started doing this.

Tonight, a light came on the dash, kinda like (!) - what does this mean?

If anyone can help with these problems, then that'd be much appreciated!

No oil pressure or a faulty sender switch.

Broken speedo cable.

Low brake fluid level in the master cylinder resevoir.
Shorty Gen2, lots of stuff and more to come!

Where is the sender switch for the oil pressure? I've just done an engine swap, so i'm guessing it's something i've forgotton to reconnect?

With the speedo, the odometer still works normally, so is it definately the speedo cable?

Oil sender switch should be sticking out of the right hand side of the block
(!) Low brake fluid level in the master cylinder resevoir or brake linings are getting low.
