broke clutch lever - need part number or will this one fit

Post by Cypher »

Put a new clutch kit in (1.3l wt) with new new clutch fork & bushings, everything goes together smoothly clutch plate aligned perfectly went together first go...finished bolting up the gearbox and while under there I thought "hmm lets test it" stuck a screw driver in the clutch lever where the cable comes thru got one go out of it all seemed fine, go again and SNAP the end of the cast iron clutch lever broke off...

:bad-words:

Went to suzisport, none...called local suzuki dealer spare parts "we need a vin number" which I don't have as I'm at work and they'll be closed by the tiem I get home :x

Anyone have a part number handy for the clutch lever? I've found one place online that is selling some: http://www.suzistore.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=574 but its a different one to what I have, not cast iron and such, so I don't know if it'll suit

I dont get the dealers sometimes. i have never had to give a VIN to get parts at all,

I may still have one at home. ive stripped a box and chucking everything out except for the input shaft.

im not sure if that one u posted will fit, have u emailed them?
