I was wondering that too, looks more like a social drive.

Depends on the class you are in.

Outlaw/Open required helmets, Modified/Standard did not.
If its not upside down and on fire, I'm not trying hard enough.......

They had bonus point sections that you could only attemp if you helmets and cages. Basically if there was a chance you would roll back down the hill then yes you need cage and helmet.

and whats wrong with social driving? this was the most enjoyable comp ive been involved in for ages. thanks alot to brendon for putting on a good natured, good fun comp. it seemed everyone there was having a ball, and having more than one car on track at a time made it really feel like a social. loved the event, loved the crowd, and cant wait for the next one. TEAM SAUSAGE PILE will be back! as long as no one takes things 'too seriously' we'll have a good fun event near to home continue.
a big thanks to brendon also for offering to lend me his newly built front tailshaft, after i broke mine first stage in. was above and beyond, and much appreciated. see everyone back there next month!

I would love to see some of the shorty patrols. I know the two that had shorty bro on the windscreen. There was a blue one and a white one.

Thanks
