Hi - can someone help me.
I want to change my email address and my address on my profile but the system is not allowing me to do it.

I am in Mooloolaba, so if one of the caretakers of this forum is in Queensland and I can ring them to discuss it - then that will be great.

The system tells me my new email address is already taken - perhaps I have registered with it before , not sure and I dont remember my password

If the system says your new email address has been registered before then you better try and remember what that user name was. Im not searching for it for you. There is no system here to search previous registered emails against user names.

If you (legsx1 i mean, not ruff) made your email visible when you created the old account, you can find it manually by going to http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/memberlist.php and then selecting "sort by email" and "descending". This puts all the email addresses starting with Z on page 1, down to the ones starting with "0" on page 838 or so.

Then you can find your approximate page with a link like:

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/memberlis ... tart=10000

Change the 10000 to a different number (5000, 15000 etc) or click on page numbers to narrow it down to the right page for your email address. eg if your email address starts with M you will be around page 330 of the list.

You have to click or right-click a username's "email" button to see what letter you are up to.

If you didn't make your email addie visible it should still be in the right place on the list, so you might still spot your original user name and remember it.
