high mount winch?
high mount winch?
hey guys i have a high mount on my rb30 gq and i'v done every thing to stop it draining too much while i'm winching i have put the titan solinoids aswell as up graded my leads but every time i winch i pulls my volts from about 13.8 down to arond 8 is there any thing i can do i also have dual batterys cheers
I would get your batteries load tested, any sparky or battery place can do it for you in a couple of minutes, you may find one or both is getting a little unhealthy.
The solenoids you use won't make any difference, they just let the current flow to the appropriate place. Other possibility is that the motor is nearly cooked and draws a truck load more current than it should at a given load, but get the batts checked first.
