yeah i was undecided between mud bulls and the comp, i came to my senses and chose the comp, im hoping for second last this year!!!! so not to long until nominations open up hey

With at least 3 teams coming down from Mackay, the northern lad are going to give the southerners a run this year. I know the 2 & A Bit team that came 2nd last year are gearing up with all three of there trucks getting upgrades at the moment. Bring it on!!!

Mosko, have a look at the CQ 4WD Club site. Nom start 3rd of August, but still waiting on the rules & regs.

Weve got 3 teams ready to nominate for this event, should be good, and its going to be war, i dont care if i get third last, just as long as the other two teams from gladdy are behind me, theres no way in the world them tossers can beat me haha, theyll never stop giving me crap, but yeah cant wait, just need to practice practice practice, and maybe a little sabotage mwahahahaha

Hey everyone, Nominations have unfortunatly been pushed back another week due to work commitments of myself and dukesy. They will now be open on Monday the 10th of August.

Payment will only be accepted online. All bank details, rules and regs etc will be on our website.

We were hoping to have them out a few weeks back but it didn't happen. The rules are basicly the same as last year with the exception of the handicaps that are posted earlier on this thread, so don't get to worried.

The only major difference is now that it is compulsory for two vehicles in the team to have a winch.

Davo, I have a copy of the 07 rules, but can't find any 08's. Is there any difference?

Its mainly wording changes to make things clearer. Tyre size is now unlimited because of the handicap system. There really isnt any change to vehicle specs. 2 cars per team now must have winches and 10l of water must be carried in each car as well. 2007 rules prob didnt have window nets in it either brent. There is a pretty good chance the rules will be posted on www.cqoffroad.org.au website this weekend after our meeting tonight.

I think there is an error with the date. On the flyer it mentions September 6 - 8 however I believe it is November 6 - 8.

G'day all, yes all info is now up on the website. Entry opens from midnight tonight. I didn't see the flyer before but it says november now.

good to see you have learnt to use that electricity puter brad lol
but as for noms that is awsome will be good to see so many cars from far and near .
and even alowing the big hp and big $$ cars have a play that is what we like to see.
bring on the teams challenge that is were it will all be won .

Still a great event and very disappointed that it is on Mud Bulls weekend or we would be back in for sure.... but 40,000 spectators at Mud Bulls beckons! he he
