TD42- Oil leaking around Tacho senor

Post by Tomo_89 »

Has anyone ever seen oil leak from around the tacho senor on the front timing case just below the thermostat housing. does it have an o-ring or gasket or something? i removed the bolt holding it in but couldn't get the sensor to come out. is there anything else holding it in?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

it is just an oring, I have replaced a few sensor for oil leaks,
try replacing the oring first,
they just pull out after removing the bolt.
