Bones, ignore Ruff he is unwell and having trouble with his meds and in his drug induced stupor has forgotten that the tech sections are for tech only :finger:

The price range of 40 series land cruisers is very broad, it is usually dictated by what the owner thinks it is worth not what the market will pay, but that one is at the end of the model run with very low K's and with a very desirable ute body, I would think 10k give or take a few grand, (buy it, ship to the states and you will make a tidy profit)
Peter

ps, get well soon Ruff

It's probably got a 5 digit speedo or has been around the clock ;) or
most likely you meant 320,000ks?

A 32,000K car could not be described as being in reasonable condition!?!?!

I missing something here? An 83 FJ45 cruiser ute in reasonable condition could never be worth $10,000

klms don't sound right more info needed...pics, accesories etc etc

Hard to say the only ex fire service vehicles I have bought have been lovely trucks! Can't see why this wouldn't be... reasonable condition you say hhmmmm........ It would have to be a good one to be worth 10k tho.

Remember everything is still 26 years old.....

Redbook (which I loath) lists the new car price 26 years ago as $12,645*

I think you could pay considerably less for it IMO

I bought a 94 Mazda 4x4 diesel T series truck with 130,000 from the QLD guys for around 10k...

You can't redbook any car! Should only be used as a guide or for info. That was the new car price, it's trade value now would be bugger all. It's worth more than 5k if it's nice but less than 10k...

40 speedos only go to 99,999 kms, then back to zero,my guess is its been back to zero, possably more than once, otherwise its been sitting around for years, and years,in which case could need some work,10 grand sounds a bit rich,it would want to be imaculate for that amount, but its worth what your willing to pay for it,good luck with it
