Just wanting information on possible upgrade opitions for my broken engine mounts in my GQ.....

i have unbreakable mounts in my shorty, they are steel with a rubber bush and a pin pressed through the middle, they wernt cheap but you will never break one. let me know if your interested and il find out wat model they are and where to get em

there guy pretty sure its the patrol docta who has an add in the 4x4 trader magazine and they look pretty good.

same on my tranny mounts....

Not expensive though. We used a vulcanized leaf spring bushing, ie steel-rubber-steel. These are from a Chevy 1-ton. Cost about $15 each max at any auto store. You do have to build new bracketry for the mounts though.

They vibrate more than a big sandwich of rubber but are 10x stronger.

I just drilled a hole through the two steel plates of the standard GQ engine mount and put a M10 bolt and nylock through, no more problems.
GQ Patrol Wagon, 6 point roll cage
351 cleveland, CHI heads, solid cam, Funnelweb single plane, 750 HP DP
