Rb 30 fuel pump not working

Post by AFeral »

Nearly got my patrol back together after doing a fair bit of work. Connected the fuel tank back up. No fuel as the fuel pump is getting no power. Connected a test meter to the output plug for the fuel pump nothing. Connected the fuel pump to a battery and it works. Fuse is good, plugs are all in properly, the fuel pump control relay is plug in properly. Battery is brand new and charged enough to happilly turn over the engine.

Any body got any ideas what i have missed ? Has anyone got a wiring diagram of the fuel pump circuit. My manual does not cover the rb 30.

Thanks for any input Adrian

The pump works so theres no need to change it. Theres no power getting to the pump.
An external pump woud be nice, just more money that could be better spent else where.

What torque? Tighten it till it strips and then back it off half a turn.
