I have a mixture of 3rds and Superior and not bent or broken them yet, wishing I got the 3rds upper adjustable arms for the rear compared to superiors as the superiors have to have one end takin out to adjust. My front tierod is a 3rds and my rear draglink is the biggest superior one havent had any issues with them (don't do comps but drive most tracks). Panhards are 3rds also with no issues.

The wizard one is 520 and superior is 350 just wandering if the wizard one is worth payin the extra money for or is the superior one just as good. I bent two standard ones in half at ateco and wanna get some thing that will hold up.

i had the superior chromo ones in mine. i landed the full weight of the car on a 2 litre gas bottle sized rock (but higher than 37s) got the car stuck on it rocked back and forth and finally highlifted the car off it...

NO DAMAGE at all, except the SA5 coating was scratched.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

I have a Superior one as a spare (its on the car at the moment). I didnt comment on its performance as it hasnt done any work while on there but let me tell you its heavy....

Supeerior one is solid and the Wizard one is hollow (the triple one has three tubes inside eachother). Im no expert in metalurgy but the hollow tube is stronger because it has two surfaces (or some other technical reason).....

either way your still gonna bend your tie rod, i dont know of anyone that has built a bulletproof one yet.

My mate races in Production class and he bent (slightly) his moly drag link at Rnd 1, but the weak link is the ball joint, which he broke completely off at the thread. Make sure that you have spares as when you strengthen one part the pressure goes on to the next weakest link.

I have a Superior mecavel one, wasn't thinking when I ordered it, should have spent a couple more bucks and got the chromoly one.

If you haven't fitted it up you can send it back and upgrade to the 35od 4140 rod.
The mecavel is still as strong if not stronger than a lot of the other brands on the market.

Thanks mate, but its all good its been in there for about 1000kms. I do mostly touring and a bit of play so I doubt I will ever bend the mecavel one. Very happy with all the Superior Engineering gear in my vehicle, and with the drop boxes I can actually get my mrs to drive it unlike my last fourby!
