Will there be a competitiors list up any time soon? and how many veeeehicles will be getting cams mounted in them?

Competitors list will be posted aas the nomanation forms trickle in through the post or fax. Should be in the next few days.

Cams can be your own. We have 3 available for internal/external mount, that will be changing between cars for the weekend.

ok thats the go, so that means there will be a dvd? and what type of cameras are they we may get a couple for ourselves and just hand whatever footage we get over at the end of the comp,

It would be great to get as much footage as possible even if got footage from the spectators . The more footage we have the better the DVD . I will post a name and contact details for your footage to go to as we get closer.

Davo & Brad, if you need some more cameras, let me know as I may be able to hold of some more. I will also run my normal camera in our vehicle for more footage for you.

If anyone wants to purchase some of these cameras, contact me on 0414 455 542. If you have seen the DVD from the Mky comp, there is plenty of footage on there of them.

I do it myself. I just finished the filming and editing for Emmaus College production of JC Superstar.

Make sure you ask them what format they want it recorded in as some of the new HD Cameras record in strange formats like my new jvc full hd camera i have to make sure i set it to the right format or i cant import it into finalcut.

Also try and get the best footage you can with your cameras eg: for in cab cameras set them to manual and focus them in the worst thing when watching a dvd is when they show in cab footage and it goes in and out of focus same goes for other footage learn how to use your camera in manual mode you can get way better footage.

Just about full for team entries. Only one spot left! A few of the committee members where out at seonee park today looking at potential area's for new tracks.

We have a lot of clearing of lantana to do so if anyone would like to give a hand let us know. You won't see any stages but you will see some of the terain you will be competing on.

With the full 20 teams this year we will be enforcing the rules regarding not being able to contact teams. Guys you must listen to your radio ch 9 at all times. We don't mind you watching other teams as they go through but if you know your team is next up we need you in your vehicles ready to move to the start. We want you to have fun but we also have an event to run.

Also regarding drug and alcohol testing, it will be carried out, so please be aware that ANY POSITIVE result to drugs or alcohol will make you ineligable to complete the comp. I know how tempting it is to have a beer in between the arvy stages and night stages especially, but you will just have to suck it up until you finish your stages for the day.

hey guys, things are getting serious, i now am starting to get into bets mode and have few cartons of rum on the line saying my team (three blind mates) will beat the other two gladdy teams, im not to worried though, a team of two datsun 120ys and a volvo would whooop them losers haha,
but for just incase we are getting a little help from crazy eyes and his winch modification services just to get our run times to be within the dnf time which beat us on most stages last year,
oh and one super winch that will blow your mind...........

P.S does anyone know where any 240volt power points are located around the park so that we can run a really long extension lead to the back of my cruiser whilst i drive the tracks????? haha,

James you may have expensive winches but you dont have a reliable truck so wel just see how we go ay. your truck also needs a lot of work before its even ready to reverse out of the driveway letalone be ready for the comp. i only need to put a set of CVs in and gudge needs to build a tray and get a winch and were ready race hahaha

The Ruffnut's team is just hoping to finish and drive the vehicles back on the truck at the end, oh, and beat the other Mackay teams, and bring a trophy home, but apart from that, we are just going to take it easy.
