Hi tried searching and haven't had much luck. My rear lsd is getting a bit tired in my GQ, doesn't always spin 2 for some reason.
Is shimming hard to do or not? Could this be done by me easily enough?

Air locking would be better if you got the coin lying around but shimming is easy to do and cheap if you are doing it your self
shiming of an lsd is not a hard thing to do, i usedto have a gq centre in my shed ill pull it open and inspect it to find an apropriate shimming material for advice its all nuts and bolts and its easy

for 10 bucks mate i wouldnt go past it , in some toyota diffs u just use a big washer to pack under the spring in it =] it will be come aparant when u split the centre where that piece goes

sell shimes on e bay for 10 bucks
it might sound cheap but it works how ever u need two per side so its 40 bucks not 10 bucks and its al most as good as locked nissan diff is top notch in standard form refresh it plus a bit more its gunna hall ass
