Sub tank switch not working

Post by Mattsace »

OK i have a GU 4.2 diesel, my problem is that my sub tank is full and i cannot empty the fuel out of it as the dash button will not engage the pump to work. When I press the button on the dash console the light in the switch will not go on BUT the light above the speedo stays on and has been on for 1 week now.

It will not engage the pump and i dont know how to fix this problem.

Has anyone else had similar problems?
What do i do ?

Frustrated :x

Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 mins to reset the computer. You do know that you need to be under 3/4 on the main tank?
Cheers Dave..
