hi ive recentally put a 5-6 inch lift on my patrol and the front drivshaft is rubbing on the gearbox crossmember whilst sitting on level ground how do i fix that? ive been told just to smash it with a hammer. any help is appreciated i wana get out there and test it out

smashing it sounds a bit ruff lol. with 6 inch im gessing its a bit of a wepon so id consider finding yourself a local fab shop and getting a custom one made up or im gessing sum1 probaly sells one. id steer clear of smashing or chopping the factory 1 could brake it.

if your handy with a grinder and welder you could notch a section out and put a piece of pipe cut in half back into it. but if its rubbing at ride height might not give you enough. i need to take a skim off mine in a shorty with a 4 inch as it rubs at full droop just a tad
