Patrol Rear Lower arm mounts

Post by WelchyGQ »

Does anyone know where the cheapest place is to get the mounts that weld to the chassis for the rear lower control arms on a GQ?

Cheers,

Welchy

do you really want to be a tight arse with something as critical as trailing arm mounts?

hey welchy

i spose adrian has told you about going thirds in that lenght of tube with me and hoppy. there should be just enuf for three trucks (6 arms)

we fitted the long arms to gudgeons GU and it was pretty hard to cut them off without hacking the hell out of them, well it was hoppy doin the work so who knows haha

im pretty sure superior had those mounts at $90 a side a coupla months ago and now there $200 a side so dunno wat the go is there??

any way im goin over to NZ on tuesday for 2 weeks so give the old man a call when that tube rocks up at ures and he can pick it up. ive got a jig made at home to make the arms and i have worked out all the angles and the maths, ive got all the ends machined up for the bushes for mine so ill try and get anuther set machined up for you, me and hoppy also bought a tube notcher a coupla months ago so we can finaly use it for the first time haha

Cheers Pickels
