i have a 96 coily im averaging 220 ks out of my 30ltre tank just had a service before i bought it. any info would be good before i take it to the expensive mechanics up my way oh its completey stock as rock

So your saying the car is suffering from poor fuel economy? Is that right

Have you checked the oil? How is it running? It should be running like a dog.

I am assuming a carby motor, but a couple of years ago I had a split in the fuel pump diaphragm. The split then allowed fuel to run into the sump, which then bypassed back to the fuel tank. It hadn't done much distance like that, but I had an oil/fuel mix in the sump as well as the tank. Dirty fuel and thin lubricant that was simply solved.
