1L Carby problems Why ME!!

Post by michael a »

Ok,

Got my first zook 1L motor its been sitting for ages. Any way put a new needle and seat in it last week ples a few gaskets and cant get the bloddy thing to go right.

I set the float level at 45mm after finding a bit on here for the specs. It just pisses fuel out the front of the carby flooding.

tried lowering it a bitI.E 50mm runs wont rev at all then stalls like no fuel.

Any ideas???

cheers

Michael

there are jets/jet screws down the bottom of the carb that get blocked v/easy take them out one at a time and count the amount of full turns till it comes out and blow them out then re install

there brass screws with a spring on them depending on what era your carb is from, just use a flathead screwdriver, sorry no pics on mine the screw is on top, there may be one underneath also
Remember count the turns and put it back as far in as it was originally sometimes 1/2 a turn out can make it run like a bucket
