calmini 3" lift

Post by nicbeer »

As the Aussie dollar is good, I was thinking of getting the 3" lift kit, extended shackles and maybe the lockrite.

Any negatives on this??

Going onto a 85' NT.

cheers

Try cruising to this thread Nic... These calmini lift kits have been discussed before with some mixed opinions.

personally I reckon the old man Emu stuf is pretty hard to go past. Good quality and great ride and I had a set last me 7 years and I bought them 2nd hand so who knows how old they were. They were in 2 configs, first combined with 2" bodylift I ran 31" tyres then moved up to 34s then put the rears in the front and bought some new rears

Given the state of the aussie dollar - you may actually be able to do something silly like order the OME springs from the states and still save money on it :)

There's a few places over there that stock them.

talk to usa 4x4 for a price..In WA which can help
They do the 5" kit for around $1750.

Compare that price to OME or something similar that has been tried and tested with good results.

Ok, will do. Just the 3" is only $675aus without freight.

Anybody know OME distrubuters in the US, apart from rockyroad as they want $1121 for a kit.

cheers

to stiff! if its for looks only go for it , but with stiff springs you'll find your vehicle will wanna tip instead of compressing your springs when going over rocks and ruts etc
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

set your limits way beyond your abilities
