Does anyone here know much about this company and the chassis they make? Wouldn't be a bad platform for a tube crawler running Rover gear.

The lockless would be a sweet ride, I want one that is road registered so I can drive it like that to work and park next to the "wheelers" (read - grocery getters) here at the office

OMG ?!!?!
I guess if that was for a turn key buggy, it'd be a good price if you compare it to what the US guys are paying for a turn key tube chassis buggy, although they are ahead of us in respect to design/parts IMO.

I guess if that was for a turn key buggy, it'd be a good price if you compare it to what the US guys are paying for a turn key tube chassis buggy, although they are ahead of us in respect to design/parts IMO.
Think about what it includes,
308 V8, ZF auto, LT230 transfer case, 37" MTRs, racing seats; full tube unit; hilux running gear; traction control system (which rawks believe me I have it !) the list goes on and on
There is nothing left for you to do but get in and start driving .......
I think something like the lockless running an injected 3.9/zf auto/lt230 transfer could be built for $15k to $20k depending on axles. If you went absolutely bare basics and just swaped everything over from a wrecked 94-97 disco you could probably get something driving for about 10 to 12K without upgraded axles or lockers or tyres or winch or long shocks etc. None of them could could be road registered though.
Although at this point i dont really want to be making them cause Ive got too many things that i really should be doing.

That's more the prices i was thinking sam, plenty of people would be interested in it for 15k +/- IMO. If you didn't have access to fab equipment or the skills, to be able to hop into a buggy with the good gear and as capable as the lockless is, would be well worth the $$$. We just need the people/areas/sponsers to get into this stuff, i think what sam k and jamie are doing down here is great, and cheezy down south.... then things might start happening !!
